The Collegiate Church of Sainte-Madeleine has a museum area with 3 exhibition rooms, as well as an absolutely magnificent collection of paramentiques!
Through the objects on display, this museum bears witness to 5 centuries of the history of the Bousbots district: evocation of the identity of the district specific to its advanced position, of the wine-growing tradition, of the social and religious activity of the most important parish in Besançon in the 19th century, of the famous people who left their mark on this district...
Open to groups and associations only.
The Museum is open to all on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2pm to 5pm during the summer months.
The Musée de la Madeleine is also open during the European Heritage Days in September.
