Musée Bost et de l'outil
The Doubs valley offers ideal conditions for the development of industrial activities, with the proximity of the river allowing the exploitation of hydraulic power. Founded by Elisée Bost, the Bost company lived through the 20th century, between technological advances and historical and economic upheavals. At the end of the 20th century, Bost was one of the top five producers of pliers and tongs. Today it is a subsidiary of the Stanley Black&Decker group and employs around one hundred people.
The Bost and Tool Museum traces the history of the company and illustrates the evolution of its trades. The museum also presents a whole range of tools, some well known and others with unexpected uses!
