The Musée d'Art, Hôtel Sarret de Grozon bears the name of the family who bequeathed their mansion, furniture and collections of objects and works of art to the town of Arbois in 1902.
The museum presents the works of art collected over three centuries by various members of this family, while preserving the appearance and interior decor of their home.
The rooms on the 1st floor are accessed via a beautiful stuccoed staircase with a wrought-iron banister, typical of 18th-century architecture in the Franche-Comté region.
The museum is part of the Juramusées network, along with the Maison de Louis Pasteur and the Musée de la Vigne et du Vin. Don't forget to ask for your Juramusées Pass!
