The visit begins with a narration on the long history of this village, which has its roots in the Middle Ages: how the lordship of Clémont, which had become a possession of the Württemberg, had to embrace the Lutheran religion and the consequences that ensued... How the blacksmiths from this village, isolated on a plateau at an altitude of 650m, began to make watchmaking tools for the Chauds-de-Fonds, and then pliers for all the trades, which were then sold throughout the world.
220 years of craftsmanship and then industry on the highest spot in the Montbéliard region....A surprising discovery!
