Musée du Costume et des Traditions Comtoises

-

Passing on memories, culture and emotions.
Once upon a time: 100 years of history.
Discover life in the Franche-Comté region between 1850 and 1930: over 30 different scenes with mannequins dressed in period costumes await you.
You can admire historical reconstructions alternating between old trades, the farming world, middle-class life and Comtois traditions.
For the 2024 season, there will be new scenes such as 20th century inventions, cycles in the 1920s and painters...
During our events, immerse yourself in the world of painters, sculptors and photographers (free demonstrations and workshops).

Guided tours are available for groups of 10 or more, by prior arrangement, for a more detailed and fun approach, such as a "curious stroll through the time of our ancestors".
Schools, works councils, tour operators, associations, groups of friends, families: contact us by email (assomuseecostume@gmail.com) for a guided tour, which is also available outside opening hours.
