Site Nordique de Lajoux - Hautes Combes

Lajoux, a small village of 248 inhabitants, is located in the heart of the Jura Mountains. It is the highest village in the Jura massif, reaching an altitude of 1165 metres. In the heart of the Hautes Combes, you will be surrounded by splendid and unique landscapes: majestic forests of spruce and fir trees, combes and dolines shaping the territory, all with a view of the unavoidable Jura Mountains.
In winter, the snow-covered valleys are covered with a white coat, allowing for a wide variety of activities: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and downhill skiing thanks to the ski lift in the heart of the village.
In Lajoux, you can also take advantage of the play area at the foot of the slopes to discover and learn cross-country skiing in a gentle way, walk on the pedestrian itinerary or on the multi-activity track, safe, groomed and marked areas, or try out more complex figures on the Nordic Skier Cross.
Coming to Lajoux also means discovering the Haut Jura Regional Natural Park with a visit to the Park House, a fun and rich visit.
