On the left of the meadow, a tree has been preserved: "l'arbre des fusillés" (the tree of the shot) is a testimony of the history linked to the Resistance.
This pass above Chevignat marks the natural border with the Jura. Bordered since 1613 (border between France and the County of Burgundy), in the Middle Ages it was the site of the "pierres patibulaires" (gallows).
Remains of Capettes (dry stone huts).
