Perched on a rocky outcrop 1139 metres above sea level, the Bulay lookout offers a breathtaking panorama of the Jura mountain range.
Between Mont Poupet and Mont Blanc, which you can see on a clear day if you're lucky, the eye can take in an exceptional 360° view from the Bulay, which overlooks the lush green valley of the Saine and the combe d'Entre-Côtes, a landscape typical of the Jura relief.
Accessible on foot from the village, it is also possible to park at the base of the rock where a staircase will guide you up to the summit, some 300 metres away.
Hike no. 10 in the Champagnole Nozeroy Jura hiking guide.
