Maison du Parc du Haut-Jura
Located in Lajoux, the Maison du Parc is the headquarters of the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park.
Visitors will find a reception and information area, a shop and, above all, a permanent exhibition.
The permanent exhibition, entitled "Haut-Jura, terre vivante", takes you on a journey through playful, colourful, sensory and interactive installations, to discover the Haut-Jura in all its facets.
The immersive sound system immerses you in the "song of the Risoux forest" and a visit to the attic takes you back 200 years, to the time of customs officers and smugglers...
Allow 1h30 for the visit.
A programme of events, "Les RDV du Parc", offers opportunities to meet people at the Maison du Parc or in the area, with exhibitions, conferences, nature outings and workshops for the whole family to discover free of charge. Brochure available from tourist offices, the Maison du Parc and on the internet.
