Maison du Parc Naturel du Haut-Jura

Located in Lajoux, the Maison du Parc is the headquarters of the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park. A reception area, a permanent exhibition and a shop are available for visitors.

"Haut Jura terre vivante", the permanent exhibition of the Maison du Parc du Haut Jura takes you on a journey through playful, colourful, sensory and interactive installations, to discover the Haut Jura in all its facets: its landscapes, its fauna and flora, its know-how and its industries, its forests.
The sound walk "le son à perte de vue" (sound as far as the eye can see) takes you on a poetic and pictorial walk, revealing the Haut-Jura through its exceptional sounds.
A projection room with a diversified offer:
Film on the geology of the Jura Massif: "Jura, the time of a mountain".
Film on peat bogs: "Peat bogs, hidden treasures of the Jura mountains".
The visit of the granary completes the visit...

A programme of activities offers opportunities to meet at the Maison du Parc or in the area through exhibitions, conferences, nature outings and workshops for the whole family to discover.
