The aim of the Jurassic Vélo Tour project is to showcase and breathe new life into the beautiful "Route des Lacs" itinerary. Cycling itineraries where water reigns!

Go exploring by E-bike on more than 26 loop itineraries devoted to local topics and a common aquatic theme, the lakes, waterfalls and sources of Jura.

Over 1,500 kilometres to discover, between 150 points of interest linked by small roads, tracks, forest paths and footpaths that anyone can follow!

These loops radiate from twenty or so departure points and range in distance from 15 to 60km. They can be combined with other outdoor activities of your choice, such as kayaking, swimming or via ferrata.

For the more courageous there are longer routes too, the longest being the "Grand Tour" between Pontarlier and Nantua which can be covered in a 7-day cycle tour!

E-bike rental with a handlebar app!

A fleet of 200 electric bikes is to be made available at the various departure points. Each E-bike will be fitted with a smart handlebar system that guides you all the way and, with the help of an interactive app, provides you with details about heritage features, safety tips, and tourist information relating to sites in the surrounding area.
