LA PESSE
La Pesse is a village located in the Hautes Combes, at an altitude of 1160m, in the south of the Haut-Jura. The village is part of the Haut-Jura Saint-Claude Community of Communes and the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park.
Until 1832, the history of the village of Haute-Molune, which became La Pesse in November 1907, merged with that of Les Bouchoux, which was formerly known as Le Reculet, Bonneville and Esbochoux: until the end of the 19th century, these two communes formed a single entity.
