L'ISLE SUR LE DOUBS

A former working-class town, L'Isle-sur-le-Doubs is now a stopover for those travelling along Eurovéloroute 6, where you can see the foundations of the castle built in 1230, the remains of the old forges and admire the old houses with balconies overlooking the Doubs (listed site). There is also a boat stop for pleasure craft.
