Since June 1991, the Pays de Montbéliard Tourist Office has been bringing the diairi caper back into fashion by setting up beading workshops.
Today, there are still almost 20 câlières (embroiderers of câles à diairi) working to promote this local heritage. As well as the diairis, the câlières have designed a whole range of items to enhance the tourist office shop: frames, boxes, dolls, etc. They also specialise in restoring antique headdresses.
Since 2023, the diairi workshops have been run by the Association "Accueil des villes françaises" in Montbéliard.
