Atelier L'Ame et Feu
Established in Cubrial, in the Vallée de l'Ognon, since 2020, William Boisson, a trained metalworker, shapes iron with passion and precision in his "Âme et Feu" workshop.
Inspired by history, particularly the Scandinavian and Viking worlds, he painstakingly recreates emblematic pieces from the past: knives, swords, helmets and jewellery for historical re-enactment enthusiasts. During medieval festivals, he shares his art through demonstrations, immersing the public in the atmosphere of the forges of yesteryear.
The Atelier Âme et Feu is also a gateway to contemporary metalwork, where William uses his expertise to create and restore gates, banisters and railings.
And what if you were to step over to the other side of the anvil? Forge your own knife! The workshop offers courses all year round, where you can learn the skills of master blacksmiths and leave with a unique piece of work made by your own hands.
