ATELIER MAPELCY

After an international career in fashion and artificial intelligence, Marie-Pierre BELLEGARDE, aka MAPELCY, has decided to put her experience to good use in upcycling furniture, renewing her previous experience in the world of antiques. Her ambition is to complete a double degree in joinery and upholstery (Ecole Boulle) in 2021.

She has developed a passion for transforming furniture, seats and objects destined for the scrap heap, giving them a new future and sometimes a new use.
Her project revolves around both custom-made pieces based on items that are dear to her clients but in need of modernisation, and the design of unique creations - particularly around the MD (Martin Dupuis) brand.

Each buyer brings its own story, and each project its own particularity, rarity and creativity. These are the challenges she prefers.
