Hélène Gravure

After running the small ski resort of Rochejean (Doubs) for around ten years, Hélène Robbe made a 180° turn at the dawn of her fortieth year: with a talent for drawing, she took up glass engraving. Initially, she engraved mirrors, before branching out to all kinds of surfaces: crockery, bottles and glasses, paintings...

Despite the complexity of her creations, Hélène's equipment is very simple: an electric Dremel machine, as well as a number of small grinding wheels and diamond bits that she carefully selects to suit each of her creations.

Initially, the artist sold her work at local markets. Today, she has set up her workshop and shop in the house she bought in Mièges. In addition to her personal creations, Hélène can also engrave your own motif, text or figure on the medium of your choice... So which "home-made" or personalised engraving will tempt you?

Open Mondays and Wednesdays from 2.30pm to 6pm, and other days on request.
