Tissage de Séquanie

The Tissage de Séquanie workshop designs and makes, to order or in small series, textile articles in natural fibres with a contemporary design for home decoration: plaids, rugs, tapestries, wall hangings, curtains, as well as fashion accessories: scarves, stoles. The workshop's founder, a textile designer and artist, also creates woven and woollen felt works of art in the pure tradition of exceptional French craftsmanship. What's more, the studio regularly organises, or organises on request, training courses, discovery workshops and courses in weaving, haute-lisse tapestry and wool felt, covering a wide range of techniques and aesthetics. Lasting from one afternoon to five days, or even a weekend, these courses are an opportunity to get away from it all in the bucolic, verdant setting of the Jura Mountains, with their renowned gastronomy. Finally, guided tours of the workshop, with demonstrations, can be organised by prior arrangement for small groups of up to 15 people.
