La cascade du Pain de Sucre, ENS de l'Ain

From the parking lot, near the Rhône. Allow 10 minutes to reach the waterfall on foot. Enter the woods under the SNCF viaduct, then follow the river on the left.

The Pain de sucre waterfall was awarded the "ENS" label by the Ain department in 2016. Real natural and landscaped jewels of the Ain department, sites with the ENS "sensitive natural spaces" label are managed to preserve the biodiversity they host, and developed to be open to the public (with exceptions due to the fragility of the environments).
