History of the domain of Daniel DUGOIS

In 1973, Daniel buys 2 hectares of vineyard, the house with cellars and a shed to a wine-maker of the village “Les Arsures” of which he is himself native.
He cultivates the vineyard and sells his production to the regional trader. In 1982, he converts his first harvest into wine in his cellars and begins to sell his production in bottles to private individuals.

First harvest, then in 1983 first customers and also first “Golden Medal for his Chardonnay at the Jura Wines’ Contest ".

Since then, Daniel and his wife Monique kept working on the quality of their products mainly for private individuals met during the various shows, fairs and tasting visits in the cellar. This work has been numerous times rewarded at the various wine contests and rankings in guidebooks. Since 2003, their son Philippe returned to the domain to help converting into wine and in 2013 he took the head of the wineyard.
