Domaine de la Loue

-

Domaine de la Loue is a winegrowing estate located in Port-Lesney, in the Jura region. Catherine Hannoun, a former film producer, moved to the region in 2008. After working alongside Emmanuel Houillon, she acquired her own estate in 2009. The estate, which covers around 3.2 hectares, grows certified organic vines around Marnoz and Arbois.

Catherine Hannoun has adopted environmentally-friendly viticulture, converting her vines to organic farming as soon as she arrived. She also practises biodynamics, limiting the use of sulphites and favouring indigenous yeasts for fermentation. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the wines are produced without filtration or fining, reflecting the authenticity of the Jura terroir.

Domaine de la Loue has rapidly gained recognition for the quality of its natural wines and its commitment to sustainable viticulture. Its products are increasingly appreciated on the world wine scene, and the estate has become a benchmark in the Jura region.

Domaine de la Loue is the embodiment of Catherine Hannoun's passion for natural wine and respect for the Jura terroir. Her wines are an authentic testimony to the history and tradition of the region.
