On the Montbourgeau estate, work is organised from vine cultivation to vinification, always with respect for the land and the wine. Over the last 15 years, we have been moving towards soil cultivation alternating with grass cover or green manure. We plant new plots ourselves and make our own acacia stakes.
The grapes are still harvested by hand and the vinification is purist... while the usual cuvées have been kept, the younger generation is testing out new parcel-based cuvées.
We welcome private customers and tourists, and offer tastings of our cuvées while explaining our work. By appointment only, depending on when the cellar is open.
