Domaine Véronique Antoine

-

Véronique Antoine is a winegrower and harvester of Bugey AOC Cru Cerdon wines made with Gamay and Poulsard grapes using the ancestral method, selected by the Hachette wine guide 2018, 2019, three stars in the Hachette guide 2022 and a Bugey Chardonnay. Véronique Antoine also produces an ancestral-method white sparkling wine "Sous les vignes" with the Jacquére grape and a red wine "En Beran" aged in jars with the Mondeuse grape.
A small herd of Ouessant sheep graze the vines during the winter, limiting grass growth, while fertilizing and working the soil.
Following a career change, Véronique set up her own business in 2005 with 6 ares of vines. Today, her farm covers 2 hectares 6 and is located in the village of Rignat in the commune of Bohas-Meyriat-Rignat (Revermont).
