Climbing sites are legion here, from Baume les Dames in the north of the Jura Mountains to the Rocher de Saint Alban towards Cerdon in the south, not forgetting Morez and Saint Claude.

There are plenty of these fabulous playgrounds in the Jura Mountains. Besides the spectacular cliffs of the fascinating "steephead valleys" from the Jurassic era, there are plenty of other limestone rock faces where novices, improvers and experienced climbers can always take things a level higher!
