Maison de la Réserve

The Maison de la Réserve offers 500m² of interactive and original exhibitions dedicated to the fauna and flora of the Jura Mountains. The main objectives of the Maison de la Réserve are to publicise the riches present in the National Nature Reserve of Lake Remoray, to popularise scientific knowledge and to promote environmental education.

Through 6 exhibition rooms, you will discover the natural environments that make up the Nature Reserve and our territory in general (forests; marshes; lakes...), the Jura fauna in the form of naturalized animals presented in their reconstituted habitat and the world of wild bees and its challenges.
An exhibition dedicated to the Lake Remoray Nature Reserve will enable you to understand its interest and regulations, but also to learn a little more about emblematic species and the environmental restoration work we are carrying out.
You will also be able to admire artistic exhibitions renewed every 3 months (paintings, photographs, sculptures...) on natural themes.
This free visit is entertaining and enriching for all.

For groups, guided tours, led by a naturalist guide, are available by reservation throughout the year.

With the Maison de la Réserve, it is also possible to discover the wild fauna in its natural environment through discovery outings organised during the school holidays in February and July-August. An enthusiastic guide will teach you to recognise the tracks and clues left by wild animals and to identify birds.
