Musée des pierres et du lapidaire

For people from the Haut Jura region, the word ‘lapidary’ is still very familiar, but this is not the case for most people. Do you know what a lapidary is? The answer is at the museum, where you can learn all about the origins of this profession and, more generally, the wonderful world of gemstones. There's a wonderful exhibition of rough and cut stones from all over the world, as well as a selection of period tools.
