> The Estate
As you leave Arbois in the direction of Lons-le-Saunier, you may have noticed a large building in the middle of the vines. This is Domaine de la Pinte, with its magnificent vaulted cellars built in the Jura tradition. Visits are by prior arrangement only, with wine tasting at the end.

Since 1953, the estate has honoured its expertise in making quality wines in the pure Arbois tradition, while at the same time taking an innovative look at practices that are more respectful of the environment and the quality of the wines. The Domaine took a pioneering step in 1999 by practising organic viticulture, and 10 years later, in 2009, it converted to biodynamic viticulture.
"For over 10 years, biodynamic viticulture has been a natural way for us to produce high-quality grapes while respecting the environment. These grapes then give us their due in the bottle, with top-quality wines!

Presentation of Jura grape varieties in our magnificent vaulted cellars. Explanation of how our wines are made and how the famous vin jaune is matured in front of our transparent barrel. Prior booking required.

In a green setting, in the middle of a biodynamic wine estate, nature, gastronomy and the art of wine come together to offer an authentic, convivial and deeply Jura experience. Chef Gaël Sanchez offers entirely home-cooked cuisine, using local, seasonal produce from local producers and the Jura region. By reservation only.
