Our selection of the most beautiful rivers for fishing

The Jura Mountains are packed with lovely rivers that each have their own specific characteristics. Here you'll find a selection of the region's best river-fishing spots.

From the bank or aboard a boat

Our most beautiful lakes for casting your line

What a joy it is to venture out onto the lake on a boat, armed with fishing rods, bait and smiles all round! Alternatively, you can find a peaceful little spot on the banks of the lake and cast your line from there.

Not just any boat, a non-polluting one! To preserve the peace and quiet as well as the habitat, the use of combustion engines is forbidden on these lakes. Only electric engines are authorised (local by-laws).

Responsible no-kill fishing

Fishing can be enjoyed with respect for the fish!

No-kill fishing practices have become increasingly popular over the last few years. It offers a way of enjoying fishing as a "sport" rather than a source of food, since the caught fish are released in the best possible conditions to continue living in their natural habitat.

The rivers of the Jura Mountains have more and more of these no-kill trails that attract fishing enthusiasts concerned about respecting the wildlife.
