This listed natural site, nestling at the bottom of a valley dominated by peaks over 1,000 m high, will leave you with unforgettable memories. There are two routes of 2 or 4 km to get there. In a dark, wild and unspoilt cirque, the waterfalls tumble down side by side. The first, on the left, is a waterfall from the Flumen torrent. The others are powerful resurgences fed by the waters of Lac de Lamoura. The Flumen waterfalls are accessible all year round and are even more remarkable after a rainy spell or in winter.
Access: leave Saint-Claude heading towards Geneva. At "Rochefort", after the roundabout, take the road down to the right towards the Martinet water sports centre. Cross the bridge and park in the car park on the right. On foot, follow the road into the centre of the hamlet of Le Martinet. At the fountain, turn left onto the Chemin de Foulessard, heading towards the Gorges du Flumen.
