Family version
From the Eventail car park, it's just a ten-minute walk or so to the 65-metre-high Eventail waterfall, the first in a whole succession and probably the most impressive! The spray from the waterfall is accompanied by a sound that varies from a crystalline melody to a crashing noise, depending on the season and the flow.
Athletic version
If you're feeling energetic, you can then go on to discover all 31 waterfalls on a walk that will take you a few hours. Take the time to stop and feast your eyes and ears on the sight and sound of the tumbling water!
Source of the River: in the footsteps of Gustave Courbet, painter
Welcome to the famous source of the Loue. From the car park, the footpath leading to this natural site makes for a pleasant family walk that takes barely 10 minutes. On the way you'll air your lungs and enjoy the surrounding greenery!
As you reach the deep canyon, you'll become aware of a mysterious silence.
Your gaze will be captivated by the water and rock, as was that of the famous local artist, Gustave Courbet, who painted this scene 14 times. Now if that isn't fascination!

The lovely romantic setting of the Source of the Lison is easy to reach with a car park just 100 metres away!
Like the River Loue, the Lison emerges from the depths of the earth and out of a cave.
This source is a superbly colourful peace haven that all can enjoy. Some rare species have taken refuge here, including the eagle owl. The Lison source is a perfect symbol of the unspoilt Jura landscape in all its authentic beauty.
After walking to the source, you may decide to venture further into the surroundings by following one of the many hiking trails.
