How about a 48-hour getaway to explore Arbois, Salins and Poligny in the Coeur du Jura? There's no question about it, the Domaine Rolet is the most famous winegrowing estate in Arbois.

A bike ride in the highlands of Salins-les-Bains
Just a short bike ride away from the famous spa town you'll be able to venture off the beaten track to explore some of the less well-known sights in this beautiful area of the Jura.
The Val d’Héry and the highlands of Aresches for example are two local treasures you can expect to explore with your guide. There are also some fantastic views over the Salins valley and Mont Poupet!

Tour and tasting at the Hirsinger chocolate factory
The Maison Hirsinger is a local institution of Arbois that was founded in 1900. Edouard now represents the 4th generation of owners and he is undoubtedly the most talented as he was awarded the title of 'Best Craftsman of France'.
On the tour, a secret little place will be unveiled to you, hidden away in the basement: the Hirsinger family's very own private museum. And of course, you won't be leaving without an exceptional tasting experience inside the workshop.

Enjoying Jura wine is always a good idea, but learning how it is made is even better. This is what the Noir brothers are offering at their winegrowing estate in Poligny.
They produce their wines according to sustainable winegrowing practices and offer an all-round experience where you can find out about their fascinating history and go on a tour of the wine cellars and winery.
The tour will of course end with a tasting session so you can see for yourself (and fully appreciate) the incredible result of this hard work.
