Bresse poultry
🐓 Bresse poultry is the only one in France—and even in all of Europe—to hold a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).
This gourmet bird is famous for its firm, marbled meat and its exceptionally fine, pearly skin. To experience it at its best, head to La Ferme du Coq Bressan, where you can tour the farm, learn about the traditional breeding process, and visit the on-site shop.
Feeling inspired to cook it yourself? Try the iconic recipe for chicken with morel mushrooms and Vin Jaune—a true taste of Jura on your plate.

Bresse cream and butter
Once made in the heart of local farms, Bresse cream and butter now carry their own protected designation of origin.
Churned the traditional way, the butter is soft, smooth, and delicately airy. As for the cream, there are two varieties: one is semi-thick, silky and mild; the other is thick, with a fresh, tangy flavor and a lively, slightly acidic note.
Why not stop by the Val d’Épy cheese cooperative? It’s the perfect place to pick up local cheeses—along with some rich Bresse cream and butter to take home.

Jura wines
Discover the seven AOC wines of Jura with a tasting at a local winery: Crémant du Jura, Macvin, Côtes du Jura, Château-Chalon, L’Étoile, Arbois, and Marc du Jura.
At the heart of the wine village of L’Étoile, Domaine Philippe Vandelle welcomes visitors into its traditional wine cellar for an authentic tasting experience.
Spanning 16 hectares, the estate overlooks Mont Morin and enjoys an exceptional climate—ideal for growing the region’s emblematic Savagnin grape variety.

With its striking architecture, La Caborde stands out in the Jura wine landscape. This cultural and discovery center in Southern Revermont hosts exhibitions, events, and tasting sessions throughout the year.
Its name is a nod to the traditional stone huts—called cabordes—once used by winegrowers in the Jura vineyards.
This unique branch of the tourist office, a starting point for many scenic walks, features a tasting area and a panoramic terrace overlooking the vineyard landscape.
