The white winter setting comes with a decidedly Nordic atmosphere. The Espace Nordique Jurassien covers a mutitude of ski areas and trails on which cross-country skiing is the star discipline. Enthusiasts will follow the Grande Traversée du Jura trail, and perhaps watch or participate in the Transjurasienne cross-country skiing race. The Nordic spirit is about other activities too, such as snowshoeing, dog-sledding, biathlon and sledging. Here's a quick overview.

The trails are open, the season is underway!

In compliance with government guidelines, the Nordic sites of the Jura Mountains are now open.

In order to avoid queueing at the cash desk, you can download the "ENJ Nordic Pass" app and use it to tell us which Nordic site you wish to visit and on what date!

A legendary itinerary

Focus on the Grande Traversée du Jura cross-country ski trail

Cross-country skiing fans, take note! If you're up for a challenge, why not ski for 180km across the Jura massif from north to south?

The entire distance can be covered on the Grande Traversée du Jura trail (GTJ). Or you can just do shorter sections of it.

This trail is therefore suitable for all levels and preferences, but the philosophy and purpose are always the same: that sense of wellbeing you get from skiing in unspoilt, spectacular surroundings!
