In the Jura Mountains, spring is much more than just a beautiful spectacle. It's an emotional moment of rebirth. After the long winter months, nature emerges from its slumber beneath the deep layers of snow and bursts into life with greater enthusiasm than anywhere else, as if making up for lost time. Birds sing at the top of their voices and the landscape is festooned with wild flowers. Cameras highly recommended!

Royal Saltworks

Gardens of a UNESCO site

Initially created by Claude-Nicolas Ledoux in a semi-circular layout, the Royal Saltworks was rearranged three centuries later into an "Immense Circle" composed entirely of gardens.

Think of this second semi-circle as a new biodiversity cluster featuring 11 fleeting gardens created by student landscape designers. These highly original gardens, always pleasant places to visit, reflect 3 founding principles:

  1. circular economy,
  2. culture,
  3. high environmental standards.
